Representing the only country outside of Balkans, it was possible for our team to exchange many cultural experiences with the other participants, like gastronomy, music, dance, expressions and sayings of each language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Besides the cultural exchanges, numerous professional experiences were also shared, as there was a wide range of professional areas in the course such as Biology, Education, Photography, Economy, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84d37ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"84d37ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-1608r\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">The course took place in a small village called Tushemisht, in the Albanian south-east, next to the Ohrid lake, the biggest lake in the Balkans, and lasted one week. Several activities were developed there:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<ul class=\"OCMmu WzoeH\">\n<li class=\"iC8vJ\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-efgt3\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">The presentation of the work of each partner organisation (environmental, social, educational, cultural...) and of the indicators concerning climate change that most affect the regions where they are located;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"iC8vJ\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-5k7jt\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">Contact with the local community in order to identify environmental problems existing in the village and possible ways of solving them;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"iC8vJ\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-25r2a\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">Group work to create proposals for projects and jobs that can contribute to mitigate and fight climate change;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"iC8vJ\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-a0lfl\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">Use of tools compatible with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to facilitate the mapping of any variable by an ordinary citizen; <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"iC8vJ\" dir=\"auto\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p id=\"viewer-dl3mc\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">Recreational and cultural programmes such as walks through Albanian towns and cities around Lake Ohrid, \"Art Therapy\" sessions and cultural dinners sharing the gastronomic culture of each partner country.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a1beff7 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"a1beff7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-5rcsu\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">One of the main conclusions to be drawn from this training is the universality of the impact of climate change on human society, although it may be expressed in different ways in different areas of the planet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-ft733\" class=\"a4yOF NlrTp dknLS SeNKp\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"lMv7L dknLS\">Throughout this week it was possible to present the work of BioLiving Association to new entities from different European countries, being able to influence others to develop work more focused on environmental issues, but at the same time it was possible to learn new techniques and methodologies that can be used by the BioLiving team!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-062fbc0 e-flex wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About BioLiving:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Associa\u00e7\u00e3o BioLiving is an Environmental Non-Governmental Organisation (ONGA) whose work focuses on four areas of activity:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf31 Nature Conservation;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf31 Environmental Education and
