The project for active and environmental aging is starting in Albergaria-a-Velha. <\/span>Associa\u00e7\u00e3o BioLiving ended 2021 in a motivated manner, with the news that it was one of the awarded entities in the 3rd edition of the award of BPI Funda\u00e7\u00e3o \"la Caixa\" Rural 2021. <\/span>Every year, BPI Funda\u00e7\u00e3o \"la Caixa\" awards and supports social projects and the project submitted by BioLiving aims to promote active aging through contact with Nature.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\"Albergaria +Ativa\" intends to combat social isolation while raising awareness among the senior population of the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha for the protection and conservation of local biodiversity, through the promotion of interpretive tours, environmental volunteering and intergenerational activities of knowledge sharing, among other activities.\nSo far, this project counts with partnerships, such as the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Social para Idosos com Vida (ASIV), PRAVE - Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o de Albergaria-a-Velha and the Municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha.<\/p>\n


It was with a moment of sharing and joint reflection that \"Albergaria +Ativa\" began, on January 28, 2022, with an activity with ASIV users, in S. Jo\u00e3o de Loure e Frossos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The goal of this first activity was to awaken some memories of the participants regarding their experiences in nature, promoting the sharing of memories and practicing an active and sensitive listening. For this, there was a reading of a children's book on the importance of memories and participants were asked to bring objects that awaken memories and childhood experiences.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After reliving memories, there was a moment of creativity it was asked of the participants to create personal identification badges, using the elements of nature (eg seeds, leaves, branches,...) that they felt represented them the most. In this personal identification, the participants included their name and a surname, based on a positive characteristic that characterized them, to strengthen their personal value. As a result, they got a small souvenir of a morning well spent in contact with nature and with each other.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The activities of the \"Albergaria +Ativa\" project will continue throughout 2022, contributing to the active aging and awareness of seniors in Albergaria for environmental conservation, in several parishes of the municipality and in partnership with various local entities, guiding them back to Nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
