Think Green for the WorldThe project, with the acronym GreenWorld, was co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme and was BioLiving's seventh European project. Coordinated by prEUnec GmbH, a vocational education centre in Germany, its partners were Associação BioLiving, from Portugal; E-digital software, a software company, and Doganin Cocuklari Ceroki Ekolojik Yasam Ve Ingilizce Koyu Kulubu Dernegi, an NGO, from Turkey; the University of Paderborn, from Germany; and Asociatia Share Education - Impartasim Educatie, a development NGO, from Romania.

Given the current climate crisis - the result of human activities - it is extremely important to train and create generations of entrepreneurs in all sectors who ‘think green’. The EU's 2030 strategy is a binding set of legislation to ensure that its climate and energy targets are met. The EU's transition to a low-carbon economy and the implementation of commitments under the Paris Agreement will be achieved if ‘green’ growth is encouraged and a green mindset is stimulated.

The project's objectives can be divided into those aimed at young people, such as increasing their environmental literacy, creating opportunities for them to acquire and use integrated, basic, digital and language skills in their development, and ensuring active participation in political decision-making processes by stimulating critical thinking and creativity; to employees of education and training institutions, such as training in green entrepreneurship and increasing language skills; and to institutions, for example by improving the educational outcomes of young people at risk of underachievement due to lack of skills, confidence and commitment, adopting best practices to make the green approach more effective, and promoting international cooperation.
