Project Number: 2024-1-PT01-KA122-ADU-000234093
Funding: Erasmus+
Duration: November 2024 - April 2026
The Project
Innovate to better educate is the ninth European project approved by BioLiving and is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.
As BioLiving’s membership evolves and grows, there is also a continuing need to empower BioLiving’s membership community with specific skills ranging from adult education and training to social inclusion and the effective communication of our environmental message and mission. The ongoing commitment to professionalizing our technical staff is a priority for BioLiving, and this project will not only strengthen the association’s ability to internationalize, but will also make us more competent and professional in our field of action. A more competent association will translate into more conscious and higher-quality societal transformation work for the environment.
In this way, the “Innovate to better educate” project will allow our members most directly linked to our adult education projects to undertake 15 structured training mobility courses that will cover the association’s pedagogical needs and as many countries or cultural realities as possible. These training courses will cover topics such as the use of technology (including Artificial Intelligence) in teaching, innovative pedagogical methodologies for adult education, holistic teaching practices for sustainability, teaching for the inclusion of adults with disabilities or in vulnerable situations, among others.
These employees will be contacted about the project and the opportunity to undertake training. After demonstrating interest in participating in the project, employees will undergo a selection process based on criteria such as: justification of the need for training; motivation to participate and share the knowledge acquired after the training; potential impact of the training on personal skills and on the association itself; language skills; diversity of topics covered by the training as a whole.
Each mobility will be followed by an internal training action, where the mobility participant will share the technical knowledge they have acquired and their reflections motivated by the international experience, with the entire associative community.
This project will bring clear benefits with individual impacts for participants, collective impacts for the association and its processes, and for all the people, entities and communities with whom we work.
Green inspiration from all over Europe!
The NGEurope Observatory is an online platform integrated into the project's website that allows us to share success stories from the five partner countries. These NGOs range from more local associations to those working at a national level and which we consider to be examples of success due to their mode of action, management or impact on the communities in which they operate.
This platform contains basic information on the various NGOs: areas of activity, projects developed and underway, funding mechanisms, partnerships, etc.
We want this dissemination platform to be a bridge of contact between NGOs and potential volunteers or even potential partners. Explore and be inspired!
