Job description:

Ecosystem management;

Monitoring of fauna/flora;

Drawing up and implementing ecological restoration, forest management and biodiversity improvement plans, including planning and carrying out planting with native species, removing invasive exotic species, cutting back vegetation, controlling weeds and pruning;

Building shelters for wildlife;
-
Carrying out technical and scientific training aimed at local authority technicians, property owners, association leaders and others;
-
Management of environmental volunteer programmes;
-
Production of fauna and flora inventory contents and reports;
-
Establishing partnerships and contacts with forest owners, associations and local authorities.

General support for the Association's activities and projects.
Profile and admission requirements
The candidate must have the following profile:

Good knowledge of ecosystem management, fauna and flora monitoring and inventorying, ecological restoration and forest management;

Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
-
Good interpersonal skills, maturity, pro-activity and dynamism;
-
Ability to work as part of a team;
-
High degree of accuracy and sense of responsibility;
-
Immediate availability.

Higher academic qualifications in biology, ecology, environmental sciences, forestry engineering, land use planning or related areas;
